I am 4 or 5 years old and this is my first time skiing….or I may have tried before but I was little and I could do with some practise before heading to the pistes.
I have skied before and should be able to hold a snowplough and ski in control on green pistes. I am still quite young and want to be with children of a similar age
This is my first time.. It’s fun from day one. Learning what it’s all about – snowplough, first turns and learn to stop! Move from nursery slopes to green runs, the perfect introduction.
I can ski a green run, using a snowplough to control my speed, and can follow a leader. I may have tried a blue run. I have the basics and would like to explore more of the mountains, moving from greens onto blues
Skiing Experience: I have skied at least 1 week
I can ski parallel on easier runs but use a snowplough when the terrain becomes more challenging.
I can ‘bomb’ down blue runs and sometimes get down a red run.
Skiing Experience: I have skied at least 2 weeks
Now Blues are easy and Reds are fun. I can ski quickly and independently and can control my speed on steeper slopes. I am ready for new techniques for different terrain, sometimes on the snow, sometimes in the air!
Skiing Experience: I have skied at least 4 weeks.
I can ski ‘everywhere’ – reds and beyond. I have skied lots and mastered Red runs but I need more control on steep slopes, bumps and improving my carving.
Skiing Experience: I have skied at least 6 weeks
I have been through ski school and can ski parallel quickly on any piste.
This camp is designed to develop strong technical foundations and racing skills. As well as All Mountain Skiing and technical drills, it will incorporate 3 mornings of race training on a reserved piste and a timed race. Race Camp takes good skiers to another level!
I am around Level 5, confident on Red Runs, and looking for the opportunity to ski with other teenagers and enjoy the mountains. I want to develop my skiing and try new techniques, and maybe a few tricks and jumps too!
